TX: Small Private Aircraft Forced to Make Hard Landing at San Antonio Airport

A small, single-engine private aircraft was forced to make a hard landing Sunday afternoon at San Antonio International Airport, officials said.

Elizabeth Cory, spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration, said the pilot was not able to get the plane's landing gear to descend and was forced to make a wheels-up landing on the aircraft's belly around 2 p.m.
