    Fiji's Attorney General Meets with ATS Workers on Strike

    Airlines in Fiji have continued to operate during the work stoppage, but reports indicate inflight catering has been affected.

    Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum last night met Air Terminal Services (ATS) workers who have stopped work at Nadi International Airport.

    Late last night there were indications the talks were proceeding positively. Mr Sayed-Khaiyum and workers sat together on the ground and drank kava.

    Mr Sayed-Khaiyum arrived back from France yesterday. He later went to where the workers have gathered outside the ATS compound at the airport.
