MIASCOR Catering, an inflight catering firm based in the Philippines, recently opened a new facility at Kalibo International Airport.
According to a report by the Manila Bulletin, the location is the third facility for MIASCOR, with the first two kitchens located in other major airports in Manila and Clark.
The report states the new Kalibo unit will employ more than 50 chefs and support personnel, and the operations will adopt the same level of quality and standards being practiced by both its main office in Manila, as well as those by its Swiss partner Gate Gourmet.
