Don Heithaus’ long run as a member of the Westchester County Airport Advisory Board is over after a contentious year marked by a feud with the county executive and nasty public exchanges that had fellow board members calling for his ouster.
In a three-sentence letter, County Executive Rob Astorino thanked Heithaus for his service. “Although your term has come to an end, I am sure that the County will continue to benefit from the contributions you made as a member of the Board,” Astorino wrote in the letter.
