Happy Reunion at JFK Airport After Travel Ban is Lifted

College sweethearts Sean and Loussana were kept thousands of miles apart last week because of a controversial travel ban that prevented citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States.

But hours after a federal judge ruled in Seattle to temporarily lift the ban, Loussana, who was born in Syria, boarded a plane in Moscow and more than 10 hours later on Sunday landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport and was reunited with her fiancé.
