Dnata Expands Ground Handling Operations to Canada

According to a report by The National, Dnata's first move into Canada includes naming the new company GTA dnata. Its customers include Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Cargojet, China Southern Airlines, Emirates, Ethiopian Airlines, Fly Jamaica, Korean Air, Swiss and WestJet.

The price of the deal was not released, according to the report, however it was noted that Dnata’s move into Canada completes a third acquisition in the Americas in the past 12 months.

The National stated GTA has 130 employees serving more than 1,400 flights and handling 58,000 tonnes of cargo each year.
