NOTE: This course is the same as the 2015/2016 period. If using the same course as a basis of renewal is a concern, we encourage you to check with your local FAA office.
Once registered, you will receive an email from Southcomm with a link and instructions to take the course. If they do not arrive in your inbox you may want to check your spam mail folder for them. Remember your log in identification and password and save this link and these emails.
You will need a strong high-speed internet connection. If using a company computer with firewall protection you may want to check with your IT department.
At the completion of each session you are required to take a short ten (10) question quiz. You must score 100% in order to pass and proceed to next video. You can retake the quiz in order to achieve a 100% passing score.
At the completion of all eight (8) sessions and quizzes you receive one certificate of completion for entire 8 hour course. You must watch each entire session and successfully pass each quiz in order to be issued a course completion certificate. Do not exit out of the video until it has completely ended.
Your session progress is saved automatically as you progress through the training. Come back and complete at your convenience. Videos can be paused and resumed from stopping point at any time throughout the training session. You can fully exit the course and your current progress will be saved from where you left off. However, the video system will not allow you to speed ahead or move back.
