China Flight Delays 'World's Worst'

FlightStats said seven of the worst-performing airports were on mainland China, including Hangzhou Xiaoshan, Shenzhen Baoan, Guangzhou Baiyun, Chongqing and Beijing Capital International.

BEIJING - Chinese airlines and airports ranked worst in the world for punctuality last year, according to data compiled by a United States-based monitoring firm.

Shanghai's two airports ranked at the bottom of the world's 61 largest, with barely more than 37% of flights leaving on time, the South China Morning Post reported, citing data firm FlightStats.
