THERE’S new naming and shaming going on as Gatwick Airport in England lists the best and worst airlines for getting your bags to the carousel in acceptable time.
In its latest monthly report, the airport looked at handling agents employed by airlines and the time it took them to deliver passenger bags after landing.
Small and medium sized aircraft were judged on their ability to deliver bags within 35 minutes of landing, large aircraft were given 50 minutes.
For the month of October, Flybe, who uses Menzies as a handling agent, was rated the top airline for small aircraft with 100 per cent of bags on 84 flights returned to the terminal within the allotted time.
