Hawthorne Global Aviation Hosts Open House At Chicago FBO Executive Airport

Hawthorne Global Aviation hosted an Open House on Thurs., May 15th to showcase its newly-built FBO at Chicago Executive Airport (KPWK), featuring hangar and office space, along with a range of services for passengers, crew and private jet owners. 

More than 150 guests attended the event on Thursday evening, and the Hawthorne Chicago FBO Open House featured a collection of private jets and exotic cars in the new hangar.

The Hawthorne Chicago FBO is a brand-new building and features 30,000 square feet of Class A hangar space - able to accommodate a range of private jets - up to a Gulfstream G-650.  In addition, it has a 10,000-square foot private terminal for corporate and private passengers with first class amenities such as a stunning and unique lobby and conference facilities. With extensive services for aircraft owners and pilots, the Hawthorne Chicago FBO features computer flight planning and weather service, de-icing and after-hours fuel and emergency services.  

Chicago Executive Airport is the fourth busiest airport in Illinois and plays a crucial role as a reliever for the region, which includes O'Hare International Airport.  It includes three active runways on more than 412 acres.  The airport is managed under the guidance of the Chicago Executive Airport Board of Directors, an advisory board of members from each municipality.
