Patriotic Music Soars Through Orlando International Airport

Last year hundreds of travelers from around the world enjoyed the Orlando Philharmonic at Orlando International Airport

ORLANDO, FL. - The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will present the
annual Liberty Weekend concert at Orlando International Airport. The event hosted in conjunction with the Hyatt
Regency Hotel at Orlando International Airport is designed to celebrate America’s birthday while at the same time
providing MCO’s visitors with a unique musical experience they won’t find at any other airport in the world.

Also this year a distinguished local veteran will also be honored with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s
Veteran Service Award, the Colonel Joe Kittinger Award. This annual award was created to honor a Central Florida
Veteran for his or her service and recognize their many contributions to the aviation industry and community.

On Saturday, June 28, at 7:45 p.m., in the Hyatt Hotel Atrium at Orlando International Airport, the Greater
Orlando Aviation Authority invites the community, visitors and travelers to share in a soaring musical celebration.
This year’s theme “Liberty Soars” will feature patriotic classics, along with contemporary favorites. The concert is
free to the public and those attending will receive three hours of complimentary parking.

This holiday tradition is just one of the reasons why Orlando International is recognized as one of the top 5 favorite
airports in the country by an Expedia High Fliers survey of 6,000 airline travelers who collectively traveled more
than 25,000 times, spending almost 100,000 days in the air last year.
