Gazprom Neft delivered 97,000 tons of fuel by the end of 2013.

Gazpromneft-Aero, the aviation fuel business operator of one of Russia's largest oil and gas companies - Gazprom Neft, increased its refueling of foreign airlines at Russia's largest airports six-fold compared to 2012 to reach 97,000 tons by the end of 2013.

Based on the results of 2013, Gazpromneft-Aero has confirmed its status as the leader on the Russian aviation fuel market in terms of retail sales volume. The total volume of the company's aviation fuel sales amounted to 3.4 million tons, of which more than 2.2 million tons were fuelled "in-wing" - up 16% from 2012. The company also has the largest distribution network in the Russian market, which includes 37 fueling complexes.

In 2013, Gazpromneft-Aero was a partner to 17 foreign airlines compared with 7 in 2012. The company started to cooperate with Lufthansa, Thai Airways, FinnAir, Vueling and others. Moreover, last year Gazpromneft-Aero was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by Emirates. Under a long-term agreement, Gazpromneft-Aero supplies fuel for daily Emirates flights from Domodedovo Airport in Moscow to Dubai.

The Gazpromneft-Aero development strategy calls for the expansion of the company's business at Siberian airports in Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk and Kemerovo, where Trans-Siberian air routes from Europe to Asia are concentrated. Direct supplies from Gazprom Neft Omsk Oil Refinery  provide the airlines with the most convenient pricing terms and always  guarantee the necessary volumes of fuel.

"Gazpromneft-Aero is implementing international standards of fuel quality and aircraft refueling services in Russia. In 2013 the company invested around 80 million USD into upgrading aviation fuel infrastructure at Russian airports. In 2014 we plan to considerably increase investments into development and construction of FCs at Russian airports. We offer optimal long-term fuel supply agreements to our partners and invite all international airlines to cooperate", Gazpromneft-Aero General Director Vladimir Egorov said.
