Rockford International Airport Releases Annual Report

RFD continues to be an important economic driver in the region with an annual impact of 994.5 million and more than 5,300 in total jobs

Rockford, Ill. – The Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) has released its Fiscal Year 2013 Annual Report. The thirty-one page publication includes in-depth reports on airport financials, staff, accomplishments, passenger service and development, operations, capital improvements and community events.

RFD continues to be an important economic driver in the region with an annual impact of 994.5 million and more than 5,300 in total jobs.

Previously announced annual traffic for 2013 boasted a 3.5% increase and 91% load factor, marking RFD’s all-time busiest year since the return of passenger service in 2003. 

“RFD is proud to present its annual report which continues to reinforce the vital role RFD plays in supporting and contributing to the economic development of the Rock River Valley region,” said Mike Dunn, RFD Executive Director.
