5th China Airport Check-In Summit Will Take Place on April 16th-18th

This year’s event will be hosted by Shanghai Airport Authority and China Eastern Airlines and will be focused on the theme “Streamlining the whole airport process to enhance passenger experience.”

The 5th China Airport Check-In Summit 2014 will take place on April 16th-18th in Shanghai, China. This year’s event will be hosted by Shanghai Airport Authority and China Eastern Airlines and will be focused on the theme “Streamlining the whole airport process to enhance passenger experience.”

Organized on the heels of four previous successful editions by Summit Asia, the international and recognized annual meeting in China will be held this time at the Renaissance Shanghai Caohejing Hotel and is officially supported by China Civil Airports Association (CCAA), representing 99 member airports in China. In addition, The International Air Transport Association (IATA) will hold one-day workshop themed “How Self-Service Will Become by 2015?”

For the 2014 edition of the only event in China dedicated to Airport Check-In is expected the participation of over 200 senior executives from the civil aviation industry and main departments from domestic airlines and airports, including ground handling service departments, IT departments, e-commerce departments, terminal management departments and passenger service departments. All the Airlines in China as well as the 30 biggest airports and more than 20 foreign airlines & airports will be attending to the 5th China Airport Check-In Summit.

A welcome cocktail will be held on the 16th after the Pre-Conference Workshops and the conference sessions will start on the 17th.
