(October 24, 2013)--The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) recently appointed Fort Lauderdale business aviation attorney Stewart Lapayowker as chair of the NBAA Tax Committee. He was previously vice chair. The announcement came at the annual NBAA Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Tax Committee focuses on educating NBAA membership regarding evolving regulations and other issues affecting business aircraft owners and operators, including the impact of rulemaking from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. The committee explores the implications of these rules and regulations and develops helpful resources for NBAA members.
