Oct. 28--Christopher Lawler has been named the new manager of Frederick Municipal Airport effective Nov. 1, according to a news release from the City of Frederick.
Lawler takes over management of the airport following the departure of Kevin Daugherty.
Lawler has been a professional pilot and was most recently employed by The Aircraft Owner and Pilots Association. He worked as a program manager working with general aviation airports across the country on unique issues related to aviation.
"We are delighted to add Mr. Lawler to the team here at Frederick Municipal Airport as he brings unique skills as a pilot and having worked closely with general aviation airports across the country" said Arthur Dee, Chairman of the Airport Commission.
