AMERICAN AERO PARTNERS WITH NAVY SEAL FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT ELITE SERVICE MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES
Fort Worth, Texas – Oct. 22, 2013 – American Aero, a Fort Worth fixed-base operator (FBO), today announced a new charitable partnership with the Navy SEAL Foundation. American Aero will inaugurate a special program -- “Red, White and Blue” -- that will enable FBO customers to contribute 10 cents of every gallon of fuel purchased to the Navy SEAL Foundation. The opportunity will begin today, the start of the National Business Aviation Association’s annual three-day convention and exhibition.
Since 2000 the Navy SEAL Foundation has provided immediate and ongoing support and assistance to all U.S. Navy SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen, Naval Special Warfare (NSW) support personnel, as well as their spouses and families. The Foundation coordinates closely with NSW commands to support critical needs of active-duty operators while also providing resources for veterans. Its work is focused on three key areas: family services and command support, educational programs and legacy activities.
“American Aero is proud to support the important work of the Navy SEAL Foundation, and we are delighted to offer our customers an opportunity to do so as well,” said Bob Agostino, American Aero’s vice president of operations. “U.S. Navy SEALs and other members of the special operations community demonstrate the highest levels of bravery, sacrifice and professionalism in the defense of our nation, and we can never do enough to repay the debt we owe them for their service.”
“Every day, in every corner of the world, brave Navy SEALs put their lives on the line to defend our freedom,” said Robin King, CEO of the Navy SEAL Foundation. “This exciting new partnership will fuel and enhance our efforts to support these courageous warriors and their families in their time of greatest need. With American Aero’s generous contributions, we will be able to provide even more critical assistance to the individuals and families that have sacrificed so much for our country.”
