United Airlines Expands Beer, Wine Selections at United Clubs

New offerings at United Clubs include imported, regional and microbrews as new wine selections

United Airlines recently announced plans to expand its selection of beers for purchase in United Clubs. The new offerings will include a range of imported, regional and microbrews.

After the change goes into effect, United will offer a total of 27 different beer brands at United States-based United Clubs. While availability will vary from club to club, among the brands being added are Goose Island, Guinness, Heineken, Leinenkugel, Shiner, Brooklyn Lager, Fat Tire and Blue Moon.

The selection of spirits and wines will also be expanded to include Veuve Cliquot champagne, and Joel Gott, Kim Crawford and Dona Paula-branded wines.

In select United Club locations, including Chicago O'Hare, Houston, Los Angeles and Newark, members can partake of a complimentary Glenfiddich tasting through the end of 2013.
