ASIG®, an industry leader in aviation support services, announced today that ASIG Panamá, S.A. hosted a groundbreaking ceremony at Tocumen International Airport (PTY) for a new state-of-the-art Signature Flight Support Fixed Based Operation (FBO) including a private jet terminal facility.
ASIG Panamá, S.A. has been contracted by the airport to build and operate the facility. Through a licensing agreement with ASIG’s sister company, the FBO will be branded and operated as a Signature Flight Support location. Signature Flight Support is the world’s largest fixed-base operation and flight support services network for business aviation services with over 100 global locations.
The design for the facility includes 7,000 square feet of spacious lobby, pilots’ lounge, dedicated customer parking and on-site customs and immigrations facilities to expedite clearance into the country for business and private aviation customers.
