Flying Eyes Sunglasses to be Featured at World's Largest Civilian Airshow, the 2013 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh

Maximum-comfort sunglasses were created by a pilot for pilots wearing headsets

OSHKOSH, Wis., July 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Flying Eyes sunglasses, proven to be the most comfortable sunglasses for use with headsets, will be available during the 2013 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Air Show. AirVenture is the world's largest civilian air show. It's a week-long event that includes some of the most amazing aerobatic displays, unique new aircraft and aviation products.

Flying Eyes sunglasses will be available at their own booth just inside the main gate on Mulva Way at space 816-817. Also on display at the Flying Eyes booth will be a rare 1966 Meyers 200D which is to this day one of the fastest and safest retractable single engine piston aircraft ever built. They held many speed records in their day. And, the owner actually won the Hill Country 150 Air Race earlier this year.

The Flying Eyes strap system is designed to be worn comfortably with a headset. Unlike all other sunglasses, the strap on Flying Eyes is soft, flat, and unnoticeable between your head and the headset so there is no pressure or pain, even after a long day of flying. And, thanks to a better seal between the headset and your head, your noise-canceling headsets will be quieter. No more noise leaks!

Additional features of Flying Eyes sunglasses:
Flying Eyes sunglasses are convertible to "normal" sunglasses with the included standard temples for outside-the-cockpit wear.

Shatter resistant polycarbonate lenses are neutral grey and medium tint to allow accurate perception of color charts and instruments. And, more importantly, they're non-polarized for easy viewing of LCD screens on instrument panels. All of our lenses offer UV400 sun protection.

Non-prescription bifocal lenses are now available and in three standard magnification strengths, with two different bifocal height choices. Only Flying Eyes Sunglasses have the option of a higher bifocal segment height, which may make it much easier to view the entire instrument panel as well as charts or iPad on your lap without needing to drastically move your head up and down. Normal height bifocals are also available.

Flying Eyes frames are made of durable TR90 thermoplastic polyamide. It's up to 20% lighter than other plastics and yet very strong. Its extreme flexibility, durability and lightweightness make it the perfect material for comfort in everyday wear.
