California-based aircraft charter firm Avjet Corp said that it is now the only Boeing Business Jet operator in the United States approved for FAA Part 135 global charter.
Avjet said that the Part 135 certificate required rigorous reviews and approvals by the US Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Transportation. The BBJs are part of Avjet's industry-leading charter fleet of high-performance, large cabin jets from all major manufacturers including Boeing (NYSE: BA), Gulfstream, Bombardier (TSX: BBD-B) and Dassault Falcon.
