UK-based mobile app developer Paul Stoakes said he has created a new mobile app aimed at helping pilots, aviation industry professionals, aircraft enthusiasts and air travelers in touch.

The new app, called Air365, allows stakeholders to have access to aviation industry reports on a daily basis. Air365 provides a regularly-updated source of the latest aviation incident news from top sources, filtered by type of event. It enables users to easily find related articles, including associated photography and video coverage available for individual incidents. Articles and incident reports can be bookmarked for easy retrieval. As well as monitoring what's happening in the skies and at airports across the globe, Air365 offers fully interactive route mapping of accidents and incidents plus aircraft, flight and airline information - and includes an easy-to-search archive of over 72,000 aviation incidents spanning over 30 years. Stoakes said that the app is currently on sale in the App Store for iPad (NASDAQ: AAPL) users. Air365 is also being developed for iPhone users as well as Android (NASDAQ: GOOG) phones and tablets.
