"Our newly transformed international hub at JFK's Terminal 4 is the cornerstone of the substantial investments Delta is making in New York," said Gail Grimmett, Delta's senior vice president - New York. "We are opening T4X as a unique way for our customers and the public to preview the state-of-the-art features of the new terminal, before it officially opens on May 24."

The Sky Priority area at T4X will preview the premium customer check-in experience. Visitors can check in to a Delta flight, receive travel services from Delta agents or simply relax in a dedicated lounge. iPads showcasing the new Fly Delta app and Delta.com will enable visitors to explore and book a new Delta travel experience. At the Delta Sky Club, they can re-charge their mobile devices and relax, while an adjacent Sky Bar area offers TVs, reading materials or simply a place to enjoy a T4X international lunch. Visitors will also experience an interpretation of The Sky Deck, the distinctive rooftop terrace at Terminal 4's new Delta Sky Club that was created in partnership with Architectural Digest and designed by Thom Filicia.

"T4X is a showcase of not only the investments that we have made in T4, but also represents the larger investment that Delta has made in our products and technology across the system," said Tim Mapes, Delta's senior vice president - Marketing.

Visitors to T4X can take a closer look at JFK Terminal 4 with a unique interactive digital 3-D model of the terminal. As an individual waves a hand over select areas of the model, information, images and video about the terminal are displayed onto the structure via video projection.

Guests of T4X can purchase four daily sandwich and salad lunch items that are inspired by popular international destinations Delta serves from JFK, including London, Rome, Istanbul, and Athens. Select offerings will also be created by Chef Michelle Bernstein, consulting chef for Delta's International BusinessElite flights. A flight information screen will display the daily menu, while a baggage claim style conveyor belt will deliver the fare in a mini Delta suitcase.

T4X will also feature travel-related retail essentials, both complimentary and for-purchase. Complimentary items include passport holders, luggage tags and mugs, while those for purchase include the popular Beats headphones, iPhone cases and amenity bags.

T4X is located at 376 West Broadway and Broome, in the heart of Soho, Manhattan. The space will be open May 1- 22, Tuesdays through Sundays, and open to the public 11am - 3pm. For more information, visithttp://www.delta.com/t4x
