Executive AirShare Records Third Consecutive Year of Double-Digit Growth in 2012

KANSAS CITY, Mo., April 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Executive AirShare recorded its most successful year ever and third consecutive year of double-digit growth in 2012 by offering the industry's most innovative collection of aircraft lease, equity charter and fractional ownership programs. The company anticipates this growth pattern will continue in 2013.

The Kansas City, Mo.-based regional fractional operates the world's largest fleet of Embraer Phenom light jet aircraft, with more than 140 fractional shareowners and another 36 members in its Launch, Launch Premium, EMBark 32 and aircraft management programs. The company has a total of 43 aircraft in its combined fractional and managed fleets and more than 140 employees at six cities in the Central U.S. and Buffalo, N.Y.

"Above all else, our shareowners and customers value service quality, high safety standards and low operating costs," said Executive AirShare President and Chief Operating Officer Keith D. Plumb. "We attribute our success to our ability to create a continuum of programs that offer the lowest operating costs in the industry, while delivering a level of personalized service that is similar to owning your own aircraft."

Executive AirShare's unique regional fractional program enables shareowners to maximize their intraday schedules and substantially reduce deadhead and aircraft repositioning that inflate costs for participants in the national fractional programs. Shareowners also have the benefit of flying in familiar aircraft with pilots they know on a first-name basis, which consistently delivers a high quality experience.

The company's regional strategy has also made it possible for Executive AirShare to profitably operate the world's largest fleet of Embraer Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 light jet aircraft, as well as the highly efficient Beechcraft King Air C90B and 350 turboprops, which offer low direct operating costs and make Executive AirShare the most affordable program in the fractional ownership industry. By offering a menu of programs using these efficient aircraft, Executive AirShare has boosted its growth.

EMBark 32, a first-of-its-kind equity charter program, offers business aviation users the opportunity to earn a 1/32nd share interest in a Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft without committing to the standard five-year fractional aircraft ownership contract. This membership program is competitive to the national charter card programs. Program members enroll in the EMBark 32 program by placing an $85,500 deposit to gain access to the fleet of Phenom 100 aircraft. After EMBark 32 members have flown 150 hours, they will have earned a 1/32nd share in a specific Phenom 100 aircraft, and have the opportunity to pay for the remaining 1/32nd share to become a fractional shareowner.

Based on a lease structure, Launch offers access to Executive AirShare's fleet of Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft for a period of up to 24 months for a one-time upfront payment of $102,500, which includes the lease payment and management fees.

Launch members have access to the aircraft, flown by Executive AirShare pilots, for up to 25 days or 60 flight hours during the term of the lease, as well as interchange access to Executive AirShare's Beechcraft Super King Air 350 and in some markets, the King Air C90B aircraft. The hourly rates for variable costs, such as fuel and maintenance are billed after each trip is completed and are by far the lowest in the industry. Executive AirShare does not charge a fuel surcharge in any of their programs.

For those who want access to a larger jet, Launch Premium members have access to the Phenom 100 aircraft for up to 36 days with unlimited flight hours, as well as the ability to interchange into the larger Phenom 300 aircraft for up to six days during the term of their lease.

Executive AirShare serves shareowners in Kansas City, Mo., Wichita, Kan., Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Fort Worth and Dallas, and Buffalo, N.Y. Executive AirShare also offers aircraft management and charter services through its subsidiary, Executive Flight Services.

Executive AirShare is the world's leading operator of Embraer Phenom aircraft and currently serves the Central U.S. and Great Lakes region, operating a fleet of Phenom 300 and 100, King Air 350 and C90B aircraft. Executive AirShare is the only established fractional aircraft ownership company in the U.S. to offer both the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 aircraft.
