Dnata, Virgin Atlantic Airways Expand Partnership at Heathrow Airport

Dnata announced an extension of its existing relationship with Virgin Atlantic Airways at Heathrow Airport.

Dnata entered the ground handling market in the United Kingdom in 2010, acquiring two of the UK's leading airport operations - Plane Handling, providing ramp and cargo handling services at Heathrow Airport as well as cargo handling services at Manchester Airport. Dnata also acquired Aviance's passenger and ramp handling operations at Heathrow Terminals 3 and 4. Both businesses were re-branded as Dnata as part of a global brand re-fresh in 2011. Today, dnata is one of the largest handlers at London Heathrow with 19,000 aircraft turnarounds and over 320,000 tons of cargo handled each year.
