Airport Fashion, a major Scandinavian retailer, which chose Newcastle International Airport for its first UK fashion outlet, has added a new men's clothing line.

A major Scandinavian retailer, which chose Newcastle International Airport for its first UK fashion outlet, has added a new men's clothing line.

Airport Fashion, part of the Airport Retail Group (ARG), has clinched a deal to sell English Gentleman' brand Hackett alongside existing designer ranges from Tommy Hilfiger, GANT, Hugo Boss, Eton shirts, Saint Tropez, Guess and Calvin Klein.

Hackett began as a small stall in Portobello in the 1970s and has become one of the most popular British men's fashion brands with stores in over 20 countries.

It's renowned for its famous polo shirts and sponsorship of the England Rugby team.

Steven Fallon, business development manager of Airport Fashion, said: "The introduction of Hackett menswear to the range already on offer at Airport Fashion is a welcome addition the classic tailoring, quality materials and stylish yet traditional clothing from Hackett allow us to offer another great collection to our customers and the items stocked have already been well-received."

With ambitions to break into the UK market and open stores in prime airport locations, Airport Fashion is aimed at style-conscious business and family travellers and offers an extensive range of high-quality men, women and children's fashions, accessories and travel items.
