Bosnia's air passenger traffic up 14.2% y/y in Feb 2013.

The combined air passenger traffic at Bosnia's four international airports surged 14.2% y/y to 30,854 in February 2013 after edging down 0.3% y/y in January, the country's directorate for civil aviation, BHDCA, said on its website. In monthly terms, however, the number of passengers shrank 10.6%. The number of flights increased by 45% y/y to 734 in February, slowing down from the 71% y/y rise a month earlier. The bulk of the passengers were serviced at the Sarajevo airport, where 30,399 travellers boarded or landed in February, up 15.7% y/y. The Banja Luka airport was the second busiest airport in the country as it handled 448 passengers in February, up 5.7% y/y. The Mostar airport saw a strong drop in February's passenger numbers to 7 from 318 a year earlier.
