Reaffirming its commitment to the Island, the airline is announcing new service from San Juan to Chicago.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, March 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU), the largest carrier in Puerto Rico, with more flights to and from the Island than any other airline, is pleased with the result of the process leading up to the selection of the new administrator of Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan. The airline, which led San Juan Airport's Airline Affairs Committee during this process, would like to thank the Government of Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rico Ports Authority, the Federal Aviation Administration and Aerostar Airport Holdings for a transparent, efficient and ultimately successful process.

Further, to reaffirm JetBlue's commitment to the Commonwealth, the airline today announced its intent to launch new daily nonstop service from San Juan to Chicago (O'Hare) – JetBlue's 17th nonstop destination from the Puerto Rican capital. Flights are scheduled to begin November 20, 2013 and expected to be out for sale soon.

From its San Juan focus city, JetBlue currently flies to 14 nonstop destinations, ten within the continental US: Boston, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Hartford, Jacksonville, New York (JFK), Newark, Orlando, Tampa, Washington D.C.
