16 companies purchase tender documents for Istanbul's third airport.
Transport Minister Binali Yildirim announced that 16 firms purchased documents in order to participate in the tender which will be held for the construction of the third airport in Istanbul and the government targets to receive at least third reasonable bids in the tender. The tender will be held on May 3 and five of the potential bidders already demanded a delay, however it is so early to decide on a delay for now, Yildirim said. Yildirim also commented that an SPO for Turkish Airlines is not currently on the agenda.
