Dubai: Qatar Airways' (QA) luxury jet arm Qatar Executive will have a leading presence at one of the year's most prestigious air shows this week. Qatar Executive's state-of-the-art Bombardier Global 5000 will be on static display at the 5th annual Middle East Business Aviation Air Show held at the new Al Maktoum International Airport Dubai World Central between December 11 and 13. The 13-seater Global 5000 is one of the most luxurious ultra-long range corporate business jets in the world. The centrepiece of Qatar Executive's fleet of six luxury aircraft, the Global 5000 features the widest and most spacious cabins among super-large business jets.

A record 7,000 visitors are expected to visit the show over three days - the first and only show dedicated to business aviation in the Middle East and the third largest in the world. Qatar Executive has significantly raised its service portfolio ranging from charter business to maintenance and FBO services, and rapidly turned into a lucrative business backed by the global expertise and track record of its award-winning parent company Qatar Airways. Launched in 2009, Qatar Executive is a fixed-base charter jet operation headquartered at Doha International Airport. Qatar Airways first announced at the Paris Air Show in 2009 the formation of a corporate jet subsidiary - Qatar Executive - as part of the airline's ongoing robust global growth strategy, and continued commitment to the Middle East and global business travel community. It operates luxury jet services to Europe, Asia, North America, Africa, Middle East and Australia with a wholly-owned all-Bombardier fleet, consisting of three Challenger 605s, two Global 5000s and one Global XRS - the youngest fleet of business aircraft in the Gulf.
