"Receiving the CAPA Airline of the Year 2012 award means a great deal to the whole of the Emirates Group. Having our efforts recognised within the industry, especially as Emirates continues to strengthen its services within the Asia Pacific and the Middle East, is testament to our successful business model.

"I would also like to thank all of the passengers that fly with Emirates each year. We will continue to work hard to provide the high standard of service and product that they have come to expect from us," he said.
