Spirit Airlines Introduces Service Between Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth

The Houston Airport System announced that Spirit Airlines launched its ultra low fare service between Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth.

The Houston Airport System announced that Spirit Airlines launched its ultra low fare service between Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth.

According to a release, Spirit now offers twice daily nonstop flights between Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, with connections available to 12 destinations throughout the Americas, including Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Oakland/San Francisco, Phoenix/Mesa, Portland (Oregon), Tampa, and Toluca/Mexico City.

Spirit is also introducing daily nonstop service from Houston to Chicago O'Hare and Las Vegas on October 4.

"We know that Houstonians have been hungry for low fares and we are thrilled to be here to satisfy that need," said Texas native and Spirit's Chief Marketing Office Barry Biffle. "We are committed to saving our customers money on travel by offering them the lowest fares, and we look forward to giving our new customers from Houston the opportunity to take advantage of the ultra low fares that the rest of our growing customer base has come to know and love."
