LOT Announces Launch Dates For New Dreamliner Service

The inaugural flight from Warsaw to Chicago will be on Jan. 16, 2013, followed closely by Toronto on Feb. 1 and New York's JFK on Feb 3. Beijing will begin one month later on Mar. 3, 2013.

NEW YORK and CHICAGO, Sept. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Marcin Pirog, LOT Polish Airlines CEO, officially announced the launch dates for its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner intercontinental service.  The inaugural flight from Warsaw to Chicago will be on Jan. 16, 2013, followed closely by Toronto on Feb. 1 and New York's JFK on Feb 3.  Beijing will begin one month later on Mar. 3, 2013.

Now that the dates have been announced, customers are able to begin booking their trips on the Dreamliner on LOT.com, via LOT reservations 416.236.4242 or with their travel professional.

LOT is offering three classes of service on the new aircraft, Economy Class, Premium Club (Premium Economy) and Elite Club (Business Class).  All three classes will enjoy comfort beyond their expectations as well as the professional and friendly service of the Elite Fleet Crew.

With the introduction of a new class, Premium Economy, which will be referred to as Premium Club, LOT has fares starting as low as $1,342 from New York and Chicago to Warsaw.  LOT's new Business Class, referred to as Elite Club, have fares starting as low as $3,787 from New York to Warsaw and $4,087 from Chicago to Warsaw.  Sample fares include all taxes fees and surcharges.

LOT is planning a media campaign beginning in Oct and has launched a microsite dedicated to the Dreamliner.  It is meant to be a fun, informative and interactive platform for customers to learn more about the aircraft and the 3 classes of service on board LOT's newest fleet addition.
