National flag carrier Aeroflot Russian Airlines on Monday signed an agreement to receive the 10th Sukhoi Superjet 100 from the country's chief aircraft maker Sukhoi Civil Aircraft.

The aircraft is scheduled to fly from the city of Ulyanovsk to Moscow on Wednesday, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft said in a statement.

Aeroflot currently has 30 Sukhoi Superjet 100s on order, with nine already in service as of the end of August. The airline initially planned to receive 10 aircraft in 2011, 12 in 2012, and eight in 2013.

The Sukhoi Superjet 100 is Russia's first all-new passenger aircraft since the fall of the Soviet Union. It is expected to replace the now-obsolete Tu-134.
