First Dreamliner lands in Dubai

This new development is a new step to cater to the growing need of business and leisure travellers between Middle East and Africa.

The aircraft landed at Bole Addis Ababa International Airport on August 16. Earlier Ethiopian became the first airline outside Japan to receive the ultramodern Dreamliner aircraft.

It is also a testimony of our commitment to give our passengers the best possible travel experience, with the best industry products and services," said Tewolde Gebremariam, CEO, Ethiopian Airlines.

The aircraft is fitted with unique feature including 24 Cloud Nine Business Class seats besides 243 Economy Class seats. It is also equipped with many other first-of-its-kind features like higher humidity, bigger storage for on-board luggage, 60 per cent smaller noise footprint than peer airplanes, biggest windows in the sky and unique and adaptable lighting to the environment.
