An industry leader in aviation services, ASIG declared that it has been contracted as the new aircraft refueling agent at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) by the Spirit Airlines.
Spirit Airlines has also selected ASIG as their handler at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI), whereby ASIG will offer ground handling, passenger services, cabin cleaning, deicing and aircraft refueling. FLL is home base to Spirit Airlines and is their largest operation with 49 daily departures. ASIG is excited to extend our relationship with Spirit Airlines to help support their impressive growth. Earlier in the year we were also selected to provide comprehensive airside services to Spirit at LAX, said Tim Ramsey, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, ASIG has been very successful in tailoring a variety of critical airside services to meet the needs of this fast growing low cost carrier as they expand their network across the U.S.
