The Georgian-U.S Airlines 'Georgian' has presented a project which envisages the construction of an aircraft maintenance centre (hangar), a training centre and a VIP terminal at Tbilisi International Airport.

According to the company, Georgian will begin working actively from September. The project will be carried out using U.S. investments.

The project is unique in the whole region, both in its function and scale. Any airline from neighbouring and other countries will be able to use the high level maintenance service and to train specialists.

Around 300-400 people will be employed within the project. The complete infrastructure will be created in the aviation sector. This will promote the development of Georgia's economy and make the country more attractive towards additional investments.
