United Airlines to terminate its services from Waco Regional Airport in September, said Joel Martinez, director of the airport. The carriers will be operating its last flight from the airport on 4th September. Presently, the carrier is operating daily flights between Waco and the George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The move should not reflect poorly on the city's image, said Larry Holze, Waco Public Information Officer, Hopefully another airline will see the opportunity here because they were doing good business and just because there maybe cut backs across the nation do not mean Waco is a bad investment. The news shocked the airport, as it has been in negotiations with the airline. Victoria and Beaumont s Airports will also lose its flights to Houston Intercontinental offered by United.Ltd.
