Anthony Caruso becomes Director of Bangor International Airport

Anthony Caruso has been appointed as the new Director of Bangor International Airport. Bangor City Manager Catherine Conlow announced this.After an extensive search, I am pleased to announce that Tony Caruso has been selected as the new Bangor International Airport Director. Tony brings to the position extensive knowledge of Bangor International Airport and all facets of the aviation industry. He brings to the City and the Airport a forward thinking, team oriented philosophy that will serve Bangor well into the future, said Conlow.Caruso obtained a B.Sc. degree from Bridgewater State College in Aviation Science with a focus in Airport Management. He has experience in FBO (Fixed Base Operation) management, airline operations, and airport management. Being an Assistant Director of BGR, he supervised BGR s FBO, ramp services such as fueling, aircraft maintenance, ground support maintenance, passenger services and customer services. He is an FAA licensed Private Pilot, and is a Certified Member through American Association of Airport Executives.I am honored at being named the new director. BGR is a great asset to the City of Bangor and the region, and I look forward to working closely with the city and regional leaders to make sure that the airport reaches its full potential.
