Ted Stevens Airport announces summer service schedule
The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities issued the following news release:
Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is pleased to announce that the summer seasonal passenger service will include scheduled service by United, Sun Country Airlines, American Airlines, Air Canada, Frontier, Condor, and jetBlue.
Japan Airlines and Korean Air will be returning with charter service. Japan Airlines and Condor will again deplane at the North Terminal and enplane at the South Terminal. Korean Air will operate out of the North Terminal only.
"We are delighted to have the summer seasonal airlines coming in again this year," said Trudy Wassel, Business Manager for Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. "We are looking forward to a busy summer with domestic and international travelers."
The Alaska International Airport System (AIAS) - comprised of Ted Stevens Anchorage and Fairbanks International Airports - is home to over 30 international and domestic airlines providing passenger and cargo service throughout Alaska, the United States, Europe, and Asia. AIAS is an extraordinary economic engine; serving nearly 5 million passengers per year and accounting for 1 in 10 jobs in Anchorage and 1 in 20 jobs in Fairbanks. The purpose of AIAS is "To Keep Alaska Flying and Thriving."
