IRVINE, CA – May 3, 2012 – InfoTrust Group (InfoTrust) announced today that it has been awarded a multi-year contract by Esterline Control Systems to provide XML-based ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D publication solutions. Esterline manufactures Korry products at its Everett, Washington, facility.
InfoTrust, a global supplier of aerospace publishing and content solutions, will be utilizing its software and service capabilities to create and maintain ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D technical content for Esterline customers. The XML content, which can be used to publish traditional Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) as well as more modular, targeted service information, can be dynamically tailored to a wide array of current and future customer needs.
As part of the agreement, InfoTrust will provide a turnkey solution for Esterline that includes authoring services from some of the industry’s most experienced technical resources, software capabilities via the TechSight/X suite of publishing solutions, and on-site project management to ensure quality and responsiveness to Esterline’s day-to-day needs.
The solution provided by InfoTrust will ensure that Esterline stakeholders and content end-users benefit from:
- A consistent “look and feel” for the technical publications used across Esterline’s Korry product families.
- Improved flexibility in conforming to the diverse content standards required by customers for the integration of multi-vendor content and the support of components in the field.
- Enhanced productivity for Korry customers through access to the highest quality technical documentation tailored for their environments.
- Lower publication costs and improved accuracy for Esterline’s technical publishing teams.
