Ronald Williams Joins Yingling Aviation

Williams, who recently completed 27 years with Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP in Wichita, will serve as a customer and administrative specialist.

Wichita, KS — Ronald P. Williams, a long-time aviation attorney and current Chairman of the Board of the Kansas Aviation Museum (KAM) has joined Yingling Aviation, the Wichita Mid-continent Airport-based fixed base operation (FBO) and Cessna Piston Engine Authorized Sales Representatives.  Mr. Williams, who recently completed 27 years with Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP in Wichita, will serve as a Customer and Administrative Specialist.

“Ron Williams knows the business of aviation extremely well and will provide Yingling with another exceptional resource when it comes to interfacing with our customer base,” said Lynn Nichols, Yingling’s President and Chief Executive Officer.  “His extensive legal experience, with a primary focus on aviation, will be an obvious asset as we address regulatory and safety issues.  He has taught both Aviation and Business Law, Aviation Legislation and courses on the American Constitution in the classroom and online for one of the nation’s foremost aviation institutions, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  He was also recognized as the 1999 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aviation Safety Counselor of the Year.  We are extremely pleased to have him as a part of the Yingling team.”

A native of Kansas, Mr. Williams graduated cum laude from Southwestern College in Winfield in 1974 after serving as Student Body President.  He earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Southwestern in 2000, as well.  In between, he earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Washburn University School of Law in Topeka.
