Delta TechOps Named ‘Top Shop’ by OneAero MRO
The awards were presented to only 17 out of 500 eligible aerospace repair centers around the world.
ATLANTA, March 30, 2012 – Delta Air Lines’ (NYSE: DAL) maintenance division, Delta TechOps, has been voted “Best Total Solutions Provider” in the annual OneAero MRO Top Shop Awards. The awards, which were presented to only 17 out of 500 eligible aerospace repair centers around the world, recognize companies with superior customer support, excellent turn-around times and competitive repair pricing.
"The Top Shop Awards honors companies who lead by example and show a total commitment to improving efficiencies in the aircraft maintenance industry," said Justin Spaulding, managing director of OneAero MRO.
Nominations were solicited from and voted on by more than 13,500 industry professionals. Winners of the Top Shop Awards were nominated, and ultimately selected, by their peers in the aviation industry. OneAero MRO tabulated all the nominations to create a "short list" of finalists. The list of finalists then was distributed to a panel of 20 airlines and suppliers from around the world that were responsible for selecting this year’s winners.
“For years, the men and women of Delta TechOps have been dedicated to providing comprehensive Complete Fleet maintenance solutions to airline customers around the globe,” said Tony Charaf, president, Delta TechOps. “It’s such an honor to be recognized by our peers for our commitment to industry leading products and services.”
