Rudy Toering Appointed Vice President Business Development

As a licensed Transport Canada Maintenance Engineer, Rudy held leadership roles in several Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Operations; he held management positions at CAE and FlightSafety International.


Alliston, Ontario, CANADA - FlightPath International is pleased to announce the appointment of Rudy Toering to the position of Vice President, Business Development effective March 5th, 2012.

In making the announcement, Andrew Lucas, FlightPath International President stated, “Rudy brings to our team extensive management and operational experience that has been gained through working with senior executives, government and regulatory leaders. His track record in building and developing major Aviation Training businesses in Europe and Canada is well recognized within our industry. His passion and integrity to ensure the highest levels of excellence in the General Aviation, Business Aviation, and Commercial Airline segments of customer service has resulted in long-term customer relationships for the companies that he has worked with in the past. All of this coupled with Rudy’s drive to ensure exceptional product delivery is a perfect fit with the FlightPath commitment to our customers.”

Rudy joins FlightPath from CAE. Over his service with the firm he held a variety of titles including Director, Global Training Delivery Standards and Data Management. Rudy established the foundation of the Pilot and Maintenance Training standards division. In his role as General Manager, he managed all North American Commercial Training centers and integrated the Air Canada Simulator department into a joint Air Canada/CAE training facility.

Prior to working for CAE, Rudy was employed by FlightSafety International and served as Managing Director of Business Development. During his ten years based in Europe, he provided leadership at international levels working with the JAA/EASA and National Authorities to implement European regulations for training. Rudy managed the FSI Sales and Marketing Team for Europe, Africa and Mid-East and built, staffed and managed the FSI Farnborough UK Training Center.

As a licensed Transport Canada Maintenance Engineer, Rudy held leadership roles in several Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Operations. At Air Canada, he was General Manager for the DC-8, DC-9 and B767 check programs.
