Boeing Shanghai Signs Maintenance Agreement with LOT Polish Airlines

Boeing Shanghai will perform maintenance services on Boeing 767-300s for LOT Polish Airlines.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 7, 2012 – Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd (Boeing Shanghai) today announced a two-year maintenance agreement with LOT Polish Airlines (LOT).

Under the agreement, Boeing Shanghai will perform maintenance services on Boeing 767-300s for LOT Polish Airlines. The first airplane was inducted at the Shanghai facility to conduct a C check on Feb. 6.

“LOT Polish Airlines is an award-winning carrier and Boeing Shanghai will provide maintenance service for their 767s that is commensurate with the airline’s status,” said Bernard Hensey, CEO of Boeing Shanghai. “We look forward to a long and mutual beneficial partnership with LOT.”

Established in 1929, LOT Polish Airlines, based in Warsaw, Poland, is one of the world’s oldest airlines still in operation. It currently provides regularly scheduled flights to 60 destinations in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. LOT operates five 767-300ERs.
