Uniflight, LLC of Grand Prairie, Texas is very pleased to announce the award of a multi-aircraft contract by the US Government for the cockpit upgrade and Night Vision Goggle (NVG)-compatible conversion of MD500 helicopters.
“We are very excited to have been selected for this project,” stated Uniflight’s President David Horton. “We look forward to modernizing and standardizing these aircraft cockpits.”The cockpits are currently in a variety of configurations. In addition to modernizing and standardizing the cockpits, the project calls for the installation of a NVG-compatible cockpit. The NVG cockpit enhancements will be supplied by Aero Dynamix, Inc.

The project will be performed and managed at the Uniflight headquarters in Grand Prairie, Texas under the leadership of Uniflight’s Director of Completions, Nathan Word, who stated: “I look forward to working with our customer, and, as always, it is a pleasure to work with the group at Aero Dynamix. One of the benefits of working a complete project like this is the daily interaction that we have with our customer. We want to make sure that everything is going as the customer expects, and a big part of my job is to be available for consultation.
