Vector Aerospace awarded Design Approval Organisation Scheme (DAOS) Certification by the MoD
The certification achieved by Vector Aerospace applies to UK military rotorcraft.
Vector Aerospace UK (Vector - www.vectoraerospace.com), a leading provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, today confirmed that it has been awarded the MoD’s Design Approval Organisation Scheme (DAOS) certification after a successful audit process undertaken by the Military Aviation Authority on behalf of the MoD.
The scheme aims to provide a level of assurance to Project Teams that approved organisations are competent to design airworthy modifications and repairs to aircraft within a scope defined by the Project Team Leader. The certification achieved by Vector Aerospace applies to UK military rotorcraft.
