Mike Harkins Joins Dallas Airmotive As Regional Engine Manager for Mid-Atlantic States

Harkins will be responsible for selling repair and overhaul services on Honeywell TFE731, 36 series APU and Pratt & Whitney Canada PW305 engines.

Dallas, Texas…January 13, 2012… Michael J. Harkins has joined Dallas Airmotive, a BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) company, as Regional Engine Manager for the Mid-Atlantic states. Harkins will be responsible for selling repair and overhaul services on Honeywell TFE731, 36 series APU and Pratt & Whitney Canada PW305 engines.

He knows customer expectations and will be a great partner to our customers in the region.”

Harkins is a licensed A&P and IA maintenance professional. He started his career in aviation in the U.S. Air Force ultimately taking on the role of Crew Chief for B-52G with the rank of Staff Sergeant. He most recently worked as Director of Maintenance for Aero Taxi in New Castle, Delaware where he was responsible for day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.

Harkins was president of the First State Chapter of PAMA from 2001 to 2011. The chapter won Chapter of the Year awards in 2005 and 2009 during his tenure. He holds numerous FAA Maintenance awards including 2003 Eastern Region AMT of the Year and was the first person to receive FlightSafety International’s Master Technician rating for the Falcon 50. 

Harkins will provide sales coverage for Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. He will be based Middletown, Delaware.
