Cell phone service to be improved at Charlotte airport
CHARLOTTE, N.C.
Charlotte City Council approved a proposal to improve cell phone service at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
The airport has grown so quickly that cell service has not kept up.
The plan will create a new cellular antenna system and require cell phone companies to pay to be part of it.
