PATS Aircraft Systems Delivers Completely Refurbished Challenger 850

Georgetown, DE (November 16, 2011) – PATS Aircraft Systems is pleased to announce the recent redelivery of a Bombardier Challenger SE (CL850) aircraft to a customer based in the Asia Pacific region. PATS performed the major interior overhaul at its Georgetown, Delaware-based hangar facility.

The interior refurbishment updated nearly all existing interior design elements including substantial veneer refinishing, new carpet and upholstery and an auxiliary fuel system upgrade to match the design, functionality and operational requirements of the new owner. As part of the all-inclusive program, PATS also accomplished the aircraft maintenance and exterior paint. The aircraft was delivered on-time to the customer during the third quarter of this year.

The aircraft was delivered with the latest SFAR88-compliant PATS Auxiliary Fuel System (AFS). The PATS Aircraft Systems CRJ-200 Auxiliary Fuel System is a two tank system, installed inside the fuselage pressure vessel forward of the aft cargo compartment.   The system is equipped to hold 593 gallons / 3,973lbs (18,031 kg) of fuel and allows for an aircraft range of up to 3,000 nautical miles.
